About Jump, Jive 'n' Wail
Jump, Jive ‘n’ Wail is a 7 piece Yorkshire based band specialising in Swing, Jive and Rhythm n Blues of the 1930’s, 40’s and 50’s.
They consist of female vocals, tenor sax, trumpet, guitar, keyboards, bass and drums. Most of the band members also do backing vocals too. The members of the band are totally professional and have been in the music business many years accompanying some of the biggest names around.
The band are fast gaining a reputation in the Pennines and are filling concert halls and dances with their themed jive night evenings. Along with the band you can also book ‘Jive 45’ for a fun, half hour jive lesson for your guests before the evening really gets underway.
Jump Jive and Wail offers its own unique blend of Swing, Jive and R&B. Incorporating the music of Louis Prima, Nina Simone, Nat King Cole, Louis Jordan, Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, Billie Holliday and more recently Jools Holland and Tom Jones.
Their musical presentation is always exciting and entertaining and their music always fills the dance floor!
Jump Jive and Wail can tailor their music to suit your event, regularly playing Jive nights, Lindy Hops and themed events for corporate clients as well as at Weddings, Parties and Festivals. They offer a night to remember and have many satisfied clients.
